Welcome to www.jonathanmaurel.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Jonathan Maurel Photography, based in Austin, Texas. By accessing or using this Site and/or booking services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site or book any services.
1. Services
Jonathan Maurel Photography ("we," "us," or "our") provides professional photography services including, but not limited to:
Portrait Photography
Event Photography
Wedding Photography
Commercial & Branding Photography
Lifestyle Photography
Services are available by appointment only and subject to availability.
2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due by the day of the shoot unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, PayPal, Zelle, and other methods listed on the Site.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the session may be rescheduled once without additional charge.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session may result in the loss of your deposit.
In the event of inclement weather or emergencies, rescheduling will be offered at no extra charge.
4. Image Delivery
Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within 2–4 weeks of the session unless otherwise stated.
Image selection and editing are at the sole discretion of the photographer.
RAW (unedited) files are not included or made available under any circumstance.
5. Copyright & Usage
All photographs are the intellectual property of Jonathan Maurel Photography and are protected under U.S. copyright law.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal-use license to download and share the final images for personal use only.
Commercial usage, resale, or editing of images is not permitted without prior written consent and licensing.
6. Model Release
By booking a session, you grant Jonathan Maurel Photography the right to use your images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to: website, social media, portfolio, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to have your images shared publicly, please notify us in writing prior to your session.
7. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide high-quality and timely service, we are not liable for:
Circumstances beyond our control (weather, equipment failure, illness, etc.)
Loss or damage to digital files after delivery
Client dissatisfaction with style or selection of final images if consistent with portfolio and discussed expectations
8. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is kept confidential and used solely for booking, delivering services, and communicating with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action shall be brought in Travis County, Texas.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
